So I just did the Umstead 100 - 50 mile ultramarathon.
Yes, I'm going to go for the 100 next year. This will be my little spot to keep myself accountable, share some running thoughts and hopefully invite comments to help my progress.
Maybe it will be helpful to you and inspire you to give it a go next year.
As they said in the pre-race briefing:
"Any idiot can run a marathon. It takes a special kind of idiot to run a ultra-marathon."
Maybe you should run for something that matters more, like an officer slot in the 13th District GOP this Saturday.
