MONDAY'S RUN

Just did three miles tonight. Tendons (I think that's what they are) around left knee still giving me some issues. Put in about 3 1/4 miles tonight. Also did some weights for my legs. Nothing heavy - just 70 pounds. Need to get a better diet regiment going.

As much as I like getting back on to running, my feet still have issues with the remnants of blisters and I probably need another two weeks and to avoid any serious running. Some two mile walks might be in order for the next couple of weeks on a daily basis.

One issue though, I've got to look into seriously finding the right pair of running shoes and socks. That more than anything caused me the greatest problem on the 50 miler. Checked out the running lights at Great Outdoor Provision - they run about $35. Worth the investment for next year.

Might write something more extensive about the 50 miler tonight.
