Yesterday was the first day I got out and ran again. Just did 2.5 miles. Arch in my right foot is still sore along with with one of the blisters on my heel. I think by week's end I'll be pretty much up and going.
One thing I learned is that I need better socks for the race and to look at some guidance on getting shoes that provide the best support.
Did some weights for my legs yesterday as well. My calves probably need better conditioning and strength.
I was never tired during the race but just could not move my feet well at all nor my calves. Looking back, with more attention to those issues I believe I could have cut hours off my time.
